We just stopped in on a busy night in Breck. The Uhler festival was happening and Main Street was packed. We found this on our walk for a restaurant. The place is very pretty. The little inside bar is beautiful with the tall full wall shelves. Service was very good. The mushroom soup was amazing! My husband loved his NY steak, cooked perfectly he said. The other 3 of us had the surf & turf with the crab cake. 2/3 steaks came out very nice cuts of meat. Mine however was very very fatty. The manager noticed when he was running plates and put another one on the fire immediately before we even noticed. That was outstanding service on his part. Personally the crab cake was a little fishy, it the other two loved theirs. Wine list is ok, nothing exotic or up to a wine lover. Wish there were more options But the cocktail list looked good! This is definitely a good restaurant, we will keep this on the rotation list when we come to Breckenridge.

Restaurant in Breckenridge with great decor from the details in the wall , dim lighting to the little thing they put the bill in. At the end .I showed up with a group of 9 last minute and Cherie was our server , she was amazing , she knew everything about the menus , was cognizant of every potential allergy , and she was very nice , we enjoyed our drinks , which we ordered during happy hour and Sidney was also great as well and we were accommodated very nicely . I would suggest the chicken entree! 10 out of 10 !

We were a party of five and arrived for a 7:45 reservation on a Saturday night. We were seated right away at a high top in the front of the restaurant. Our server, Bryan, was friendly, attentive, and explained the food in detail. We ordered many dishes to share, and we were impressed with the speed the plates came out of the kitchen and the efficiency of the staff to handle all of the food. We started with four different cocktails that were all delicious, but the Spicy Cucumber Margaritas were the table favorite. The Mountain Time was refreshing if you like gin, the Ginger Pear Martini was on the sweet side, and the Smokey Alpine Glow was fantastic if you like Mezcal tequila. It is pretty smokey if that is your thing (it is mine). Since we were with our adult children who are adventurous eaters, we shared all of the dishes. We ordered 9 dishes and that was the perfect amount of food as there was nothing left over and everyone was pleasantly satiated. Here is what we thought: Parker House Rolls - pretty typical and nothing outstanding Crispy Curried Cauliflower - if you like a bit of curry, this dish is fantastic! Korean BBQ Pork Ribs - A-maz-ing! Everyone loved the sauce and they were so tender. Miso Asparagus Bisque - very well balanced. We ordered two bowls and we all really wanted just a little bit more. Note: if you are taking pictures for a review, this dish is a not well photographed. The bowl is presented with asparagus and pistachio dust and then the servers pour in the soup and it becomes a bowl of greatness that looks bad in pics. Hamachi Crudo - a very well balanced, typical (in a great way) version of crudo. The Hamachi was fresh and perfectly sliced. We had two of these for the table. Housemade Rotating Pasta - It was good, but we didn't get the notes that Bryan said we would taste. It was very unique. This dish changes all the time, so what I say doesn't really matter here:) Farmers Market Special - for us it was cantaloupe done 4 ways. Very interesting and very tasty. We all appreciated the Chef's creativity with using local ingredients in this dish and the pasta dish. We did not have an entree, but I'm sure they are all as good as the rest of the menu. We all highly recommend Aurum (which is Latin for gold...we asked) if you are in Breckenridge. The standard menu is fantastic and the fact that Chef is creative with the pasta and farmer's market plates is very refreshing.

Geez, after reading the recent reviews on this restaurant, I was hesitant to go. But I'm so glad we did. I can see why it's the best happy jour in town. What a steal. But we weren't there for happy hour. We opted to come later to enjoy the outdoor seating. Our service was fantastic and Tom took care of us. There was a choice of mocktails which I appreciate. Everything we ate was delicious. We opted for the crudo (so spicy and delicious), the Korean fried chicken (just do it), the burger (fantastic flavors) and a special pasta. For dessert it was the cookies (yes, yes yes!) and the Elvis (a little spicy dessert). We enjoyed our meal and unanimously agreed this was a five star experience. We are glad we didn't listen to the other reviews!! PS-to be fair, working a huge table is never fun and never turns out well. So I take these large table complaints with a groan of salt.
